LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Integrity. Fairness. Responsibility.
Character matters. I believe that making a difference in my community starts with my commitment to doing the right thing, regardless of whether or not someone is watching. I believe that integrity is vital for those holding public office, and I take this responsibility seriously.
No one likes to be misunderstood. It doesn't feel fair. When discussing differing points of view and holding opposite opinions on issues, it is important to listen, to understand, and to be fair-minded. I know that working well with others requires someone who can listen to all angles, and then come to a conclusion that is accurate and is satisfactory for everyone.
Taking responsibility requires inner strength. Whether it's owning up to a mistake, or following through on a task, being responsible means you always do what you say! I will serve my community as a West Valley School Board Director with dedication and commitment to responsibility.
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts Degrees in Christian Education from Biola University. I served as the Administrative Pastor at West Side Church in Yakima from 1994-2017, when I retired. I previously served on the West Valley School Board from 2004-2007.
My wife, Holli, a retired teacher, and I have loved living in Yakima for the past 29 years, and our two adult sons both graduated from West Valley High School.
